Experience Matters When You're Building Something Different

Creating Space, Inc. is a North Metro Atlanta design-build remodeling company specializing in the spaces that make a home more enjoyable—custom wine cellars, home theaters, home gyms, basement kitchens, bars, and other one-of-a-kind entertainment spaces.

Founded and led by Todd DiFiore, Creating Space has spent more than 25 years helping Atlanta-area homeowners transform underused areas of their homes into spaces designed around the way they actually live.

Over that time, we've completed more than 600 basement projects throughout North Metro Atlanta.

But we're still a hands-on company.

Owner Involvement From Beginning to End

When you hire Creating Space, you aren't simply handed off to a salesperson and then introduced to a series of project managers.

Todd takes an active role in the projects Creating Space builds—from discussing the initial concept and working through design decisions to overseeing construction and solving the inevitable challenges that arise during a custom remodeling project.

That personal involvement is one of the reasons we've intentionally kept our service area concentrated in North Metro Atlanta.

It allows us to remain closely involved in the work and maintain relationships with the craftsmen and subcontractors we've trusted for years.

We Build Spaces That Belong in the Home

Materials, cabinetry, trim, doors, flooring, lighting, and architectural details should complement the rest of your home.

Whether we're building a glass-enclosed wine cellar, a sophisticated basement bar, a dedicated theater, or a private fitness room, we look at the entire space—not just the feature we're installing.

That's particularly important in the higher-end homes throughout Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Cumming, Johns Creek, and Forsyth County, where the quality of the new space needs to match the quality of the home surrounding it.

A Different Kind of Remodeling Experience

Custom remodeling involves hundreds of decisions and countless details.

Our job isn't simply to build what's on a drawing. It's to help you think through how you'll actually use the space, identify opportunities you may not have considered, and ultimately build something you'll enjoy for years.
